Supportive, flexible, real-world options

You don’t have to hate your job to want more options.

If work is leaving you stretched, burnt out, or simply wanting more breathing room - not because you don’t care, but because you do - becoming a UW Partner could be a practical way to build extra income alongside what you already do.

No hard sell. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about whether it could fit your life.

Happy to chat by WhatsApp text, voice note, or phone call if that feels easier. I’m disability aware and I know not everyone wants a call as the first step.

Watch the short video, then message me if you want the honest version of what being a UW Partner actually looks like day to day.

Why people reach out

Sometimes you don’t need a new life. You just need more room to breathe.

For a lot of people, the issue isn’t dramatic. It’s quieter than that.

You’re tired. Bills keep rising. You care about what you do, but you can’t ignore the pressure anymore. You want something flexible that works around your life instead of taking it over.

That’s why this page exists.

This might suit you if…

You want an extra income stream alongside your current job.
You care about helping people, not pushing them.
You’d value flexibility because burnout is real.
You’d rather start with a conversation than jump into a sales pitch.

Start small

You don’t need to blow up your life to create change. Small, steady action can build into something meaningful over time.

Help first

The model works best when you genuinely help people save money and simplify household bills. That’s the part I value most.

Protect your energy

This is about creating options and reducing pressure, not adding another full-time job on top of the one you already have.

Why I chose this

I became a UW Partner for the same reason I do my day job: to help people.

I’ve spent years working as a SENDCo, helping families navigate systems that can feel exhausting, complex and unfair. Alongside that, I started to see the cost-of-living pressure hitting the very same people I was already supporting.

I care deeply about my role and I’m proud to work within a strong Academy Trust. This wasn’t about walking away from education. It was about protecting the work I care about and making it more sustainable long-term.

Outside work, I’m a beekeeper. Beekeeping has taught me that a healthy hive depends on support, consistency and the right environment. Small actions matter. Done well, they create a bigger impact over time.

That’s what appealed to me about UW. It gave me a way to keep advocating for people in a different part of their lives: helping them save money, reduce pressure and make practical decisions about their household bills.

Personally, I also wanted more flexibility. My aim has been to build enough breathing space to reduce burnout, protect the work I care about, and have more time for my family and my bees - not to leave teaching, but to sustain it.

You don’t need to leave the work you care about to want a better balance. Sometimes you just need an option that works alongside your life.
Message in your own way WhatsApp text, voice notes, or a phone call if you prefer.

Start with a simple message

Curious? Let’s start a conversation.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need enough curiosity to ask whether this could give you more options, more flexibility, or a bit more breathing room.

WhatsApp is the best place to start. Text is absolutely fine. Voice notes are welcome too.
